just a picture I took of the map highlighting the golden triangle. That place has some serious history and seeing that place in person was pretty amazing. Then our rotary leaders illegally took us to Laos for a shopping trip. Rotary is so great at times like that
god I’ve been bad at posting anything lately. makes me wonder why in the world people would follow me but thank you none the less =)
This is a photo of my family and my second host family when my parents came to visit during Christmas.
You’ve got my mom, dad, and Alayna who was my other half in Thailand. Then my host father, my host brother P’Boat and his wife P’Goy and their son PM, who was so adorable. All these people were my family, all at once. they all cared about me. I’ve been home for over a year and I still believe them to be part of my family
This is my entire class. they wee in grade 10 when I met them, and last week they graduated from high school. They were an interesting bunch to say the least. We had lots of laughs and they accepted us for the strangers we were. I’ll never forget them and the memories we made with them.
This was a little boy we met at the Elephant camp. He was pretty upset over something but when the sweet little Mexican Susie sat down beside him and he lit right up. He even kissed her on the cheek before running back to his parents
This is pretty much the view when grabbing a tuk tuk. this certain tuk tuk had special meaning. Alayna’s family always phoned this one guy whenever we wanted to go to the mall or anywhere else. I miss that tuk tuk.. heck I miss all tuk tuk rides
